day 22: what makes you different from everyone else

• i get more pleasure out of reading and knitting (so-called old-fashioned habits) than hitting up the bars on weekends
• i swim. it's an individual AND team sport.
• i swim, despite being "allergic" to the pool water...it's like a chronic runny nose. but i love to swim more than i love to breathe normally.
• i like to go hiking in the woods with my dog & an ipod & a camera...i don't necessarily trek for the exercise of it, but more so looking for great pictures.
• i work in a special education classroom, helping kids with learning disabilities...sadly, i'm more excited about taking notes & learning from their teachers than they are.  it's like free education for me, which i suppose can only be appreciated after you've had to pay thousands of dollars for your schooling.
• i will not settle when it comes to love. i absolutely refuse.
• i want to learn photography, how to bake, and how play guitar, and how to crochet.
• for my birthday this year, i want an ipad so i can play with education apps & learn everything i can.
• i'm an uber-nerd & proud of it!
