just don't do it

this is being written because yet another person that i knew has died by their own hand.  she wasn't someone i knew well by any means, but we were kindred spirits in the sense that we both chose pacific and its exercise science program.  she was a classmate and a friend of friends.  we were separated by thousandths of a degree, but will be separated permanently from now on.  for whatever reason, she chose to take her life yesterday...

this tragedy marks the 4th suicide i can think of off the top of my head, but i have no doubt that if i chose to subject myself to remember the exact number, there'd be more.  which is ridiculous, considering how small a town i'm from and how relatively few people i know.  what i never understand is, why??  what could be so damned important that you end your life and ruin the lives of those around you??  sure, things may seem shitty and unbearable, but they won't be that way forever.  others are available to help you in any way possible if you let them. 

long story short, don't do it.  the problems aren't worth it.  YOU MATTER.  you WILL be missed.
