day 18: plans/dreams/goals you have
this may turn out to be a fairly extensive list!
my biggest goal at the moment is to finally finish my grad app(s) and start a teaching program very soon...i've been procrastinating for nearly a year now, and the app for GCU is nearly complete--simply waiting for my FAFSA to be completed. i recently found out that Willamette is offering online classes as well, but i haven't looked into the program(s) yet to find out if they match my career desires. i'm almost hoping they do, since salem is much closer to ketch than phoenix, and would give me a "reason" to visit oregon again...but i know whichever school i choose, it will be for the best. just have to get my rear in gear!
i also want to eventually get enough knitting techniques/patterns learned and projects finished to fill a booth at the winter arts faire or blueberry festival, and even enough to open up an etsy.com web page. the problem is, once i finish a new project, i usually like it enough that i want to keep it instead of selling it! but there are a few items, like fingerless mittens, slouchy hats, and bulky pillowcase covers that are fairly quick to knit up and easily reproducible so i won't feel so inclined to add to my personal collection.
more short-term plans & goals include getting back in the pool & beginning training with the swim team after my holiday concert is over at the start of next month; continue whittling away at the list of homemmade christmas presents that i've already started; and to survive the upcoming 4-5 weeks of housesitting + thanksgiving + community choir concert + work + coaching. whews...
