day 19: nicknames you have & why do you have them

to be entirely honest, i've never really had any nicknames. nothing consistent or long-term anyways. when i was in like 4th grade, my friend & i came up with our own nicknames (charlot-a-lot and megsterdoodle-opolis, which consequently got shortened to megsterdoodle), and i used a similar name (megsterooni) as an email for a while...while my mom occasionally uses one of those nicknames, it isn't something that is universal to family & friends. the only nickname that i've ever even sort-of had is more of a parental pet name--my dad has called me "punkin" ever since i was a wee one. i used to blush at it (probably still do!), but it's endearing nonetheless and i hope i hear it for many years to come...regardless of any nickname i may ever acquire, being daddy's little girl trumps them all.
